Smart And Cozy Homes can trace its roots back to 2018 shortly after founder and Managing Director, Maria Velit, moved to the UK from her home city of New York. It was there she’d cut her teeth on a number of commercial redevelopment projects in and around the Big Apple before starting her first property venture in the UK.
“The UK business began as a portfolio landlord, acquiring properties in the North of England which would then be fully refurbished and rented out. As time moved on, we extended our operations to London, reconfiguring and developing residential units which led to us becoming adept at maximising each building’s value as well as growing the overall portfolio.”
As the business expanded, Maria established a corporate letting arm in London before creating Smart And Cozy Homes to focus on bespoke new-build and commercial conversion projects. Here, Maria’s ability to create a highly attractive proposition to discerning buyers is what sets SACH apart from the competition.
“I’ve seen so many properties that lack not only the individuality that allows people to really fall in love with their new home, but also other critical elements such as integrated storage and energy efficiency. At SACH our aim is to build homes that fill that void by creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical.”
Today Maria divides her time between managing the business’s growing rental portfolio and sourcing new sites for SACH’s new-build and commercial conversion projects in and around London.
